How i met my hubby

In January  2002 i was attending a church youth group and they all were planning on going on a ''snow retreat'' and everyone pretty much was going. i DIDNT really want to go at all i wasn't really into going to that plus i didnt wanna pay the $100 to go. however someone decided to pay my way because they wanted me to go so i said OK since someone paid for it [lol] well on January 8th-10th was the retreat and we all were supposed to meet up at the church and then i seen Tim there. he wasn't a part of my youth group but a family friend told his grandpa about it and had him go. when i first talked to Tim he was kinda rude to me a little he had a little ''attitude'' which i think was just him playing tough.

anyway everyone had to ride in a few different cars and and he ended up being in the same car as me. so we spent a few hours talking and getting to know each other. i SO wasn't interested in him AT ALL i had no interest in being with him or anything. he even HAD a girlfriend at the time. about 2 hours into the car ride he started getting really flirty with me. and i just went with it wasnt really caring if he was flirting with me. well we stop at this gas station and he offered to buy me whatever i wanted and me being stubborn i said SURE since i didnt wanna use any of my money there LOL! so i thought he was nice i guess

then he was even MORE flirty with me and i kind of flirted back with him a little bit :)

well we get to the snow retreat place and he went off with his friends and such to snow board and since i wasnt into that i just did my own thing. and suddenly i kind of wanted him around me i actually kind of ''missed'' him since we got to know each other a little. a few hours later he came back and i was actually REALLY happy i remember smiling from ear to ear because he was back. 

we walked around and talked even more. of course it was a church thing so the flirting and such was just little things. so the last day  there he had asked me out but i told him NO because he had a girlfriend and i wasnt sure i really wanted to date him.

so we get back to town and we exchanged #'s and aol screen names

later that night we start talking on IM and on the phone such and he had me laughing and feeling ''butterflies'' in my stomach and i couldnt resist that feeling.

he asked me out again. and of course i said no again. i still wasn't sure!

so on January 14th 2002 we were talking on the phone and i started to REALLY like him and by that time i couldn't resist it. i ASKED him out. knowing he still had a girlfriend i didnt care. i wanted him and of course he said yes. he did end up breaking up with his g.f a few days later and she was HEATED about it. but i didnt care. we liked each other and he had no interest in her anymore. he wanted me and only me.

i was only 15 and he was 16 so we were still so young but we become the BEST of friends as well. we only saw each other on the weekends. until he turned 18. he lived with his grandpa and he was a STRICT man.. tim wanted out of there so My dad said he can come live with us. and so he did. however my parents were strict so he had to have his own room and what not.

on January of 04' the night before my 18th birthday he had asked me to marry him he was so darn cute he got on his knee said how much he loved and adored me and wanted to be with me forever. of course i said yes :)

on June 30th 2005 we said our 'I do's' and have been HAPPILY married every since!!!

i love him SO much and SO glad i went to that snow retreat because then i would have never met my soul mate!!! :)
