Me & Tim always wanted children but just never really thought it would Actually happen

after a few negative pregnancy test i just figured it would take a while and didn't really expect much more then  that. in august 2005 i was feeling a little nauseated and i had headaches but i really didnt even think anything at all of them then we had a BBQ with some neighbors and someone brought over some green stuffed peppers and the smell made me SICK to my stomach right then i went HMM could i be pregnant? but my period wasn't due till around the end of the month i believe so i didnt test or anything & later that night we were going to the fairgrounds and we had stopped at the gas station and i got a soda and i spilled it ALL over me so we drove back to the house and i spend 20 mins trying to find something to wear i started crying out of no where because nothing really fit me and i was just overly emotional.

fast forwards to the 23rd of August. i was just sitting at my computer doing nothing i was feeling just fine and i had remembered i had 1 pregnancy test left and i was bored so i said WTH ill just take one...

i go to the bathroom and pee on the first response then all of a sudden TWO very dark lines appeared and i remember saying NO WAY OH MY GOD my face light up then a few seconds later i felt really scared/nervous and in shock cus i honestly wasn't expecting it. when i told Tim that we were going to have a baby he was very happy and very excited.

I had horrible i mean horrible morning sickness it was bad i threw up everything 

I made my first apt around July and they did my first u/s a transvaginal one which was ODD to me LOL wasn't excpecting to be probed w. a hgue white stick lol but we saw our baby and i was in so much AWE it was amazing. i was 8 weeks pregnant. i remember thinking what if this is fake what if im not pregnant and id always look at those u/s pics! lol

fast forwards to December 27th 2005 we got to find out the sex of our baby [[ill be honest and say i was hoping or a BOY the whole time]] but once the tech said girl my heart melted i was in love with her so much.

i did develop Gestational Diabetes with my pregnancy but i controlled it very well. having to prick my fingers 4 times a day sucked but i did it anyway!

when i was 8 months pregnant i started itching really badly all over my legs and upper thighs but i thought it was just ''normal'' until i got this dark red hicky like marks thats when Tim told me i HAD to tell my dr. so at my next apt i did and she said hmm and i got blood test done

the next day was scary. i got a phone call from the drs office and the nurse said ''Ashley i dont want to scare you but you need to come in NOW'' i still remember my heart racing. so me and Tim go and my dr said i have Cholestatis which is a rare condition only a few woman get in their pregnancies. they did a u/ s on me and everything looked good however my dr told me that my liver was producing harmful toxins to the babys fluid and that she can die at anytime but she was going to give me pills to keep her fluid from being infected. my gosh i remember being so scared. my dr then told me that she will have to induce me when i am 37 weeks because the risk of letting me go t 40 was way to risky. i was fine with the induction because it meant i get my baby out safe. my dr told me i had to SERIOUSLY do kick counts everyday and if i dont feel a kick i need to go in. and sure enough i didnt feel a single thing for HOURS i was crying because i had thought my baby girl had died. i went into the office and they did a NST and the baby was just fine *whew* i felt stupid but my dr said ''Ashley i dont care how many times you come into my office i care for you and your baby so you come in as much as needed'' that made me feel better!

@ 35wks pregnant i was really ''crampy'' so we went to l&d and they said i was 1cm dialted and was having contractions i had no clue i thought they were just cramps so they gave me a pill to stop it and it did.

on April 14th 2006 i woke up at 5am and had to call L&D to make sure there was a room for me and they told me to come in at 7am. so me and Tim load the car up and on our way we go. i remember talking to him about khylie we were s nervous.

we get to the hospital and go up to L&D they give me a room and i get my robe on and such we sat there untill about 10am when they finally get the induction started they gave me an IV of pitocin and i didnt feel a thing i got a little crampy but not contractions so around 2pm my dr decided to pop my bag of water and omg it was weird it felt like i was peeing lol. then the HARD contractions hit every 3 mins so i decided to get on the birthing ball and oh my water was everywhere i mean from the end of the room all the way to the door and it was a huge room lol by that time i was in so much pain i asked for the epidural then around 20mins later they checked me and i was 3-4cm dilated so i was going perfectly i got the epi and i felt great. thats when my parents showed up. i HAD to have my mom w/ me so it was 1 hour later at 4:15pm a nurse came in and she was like WOW look at those charts i couldnt feel a thing and she goes i am going to check you just to be sure. and sure enough i was 9CM. i went from 3-4cm to 9 in 1 hour. my heart was shaking. this was it shes on her way. my dr got everything all ready and told me to push. i had no idea how to or anything so we pushed through my contractions that we could see from the monitor i pushed for about a good 15 mins then bam. Khylie Hannah Ruscigno was born.i did tare and had to have 7 stiches. they  placed her on my chest right after for a good hour as i couldnt keep my eyes off of her. about an hour later they cleaned her off and weighed her and she was 8lbs 110z 21inches.

 she was a big girl for being born 3 weeks early. they told me i had to get up and see if i can pee on my own and ugh i blood was everywhere. and i sat in the shower to clean myself and i was so scared of how swollen i was down there. i got all cleaned and then we gave Khylie her first bath. Tim got to help with that he actually brushed her little hair and everything. it was perfect. she was perfectly fine our baby girl.

we got to go home 2 days later which was on Easter Sunday!! what a great Easter gift.

those first few weeks were tiring and scary and exciting and nervwrecking but i will always remember.

well that was my birth story w/ Khylie Hanah and from then on our lives were changed :)
